YAY! I just found out I will be featured in Southwest Art Magazine's 21 Artists under 31 competition publication!

Dear, Dear Readers. I am so, so sorry to have let you down on any news that may be going on with me (not that I think ANY of you are losing sleep over it...)
Well, FIRST... I 'm updating my blog, thanks to a comment this morning by the fabulous Mr. Cannon who said that he was sorely disappointed that I had not been writing, and de-fanned my blog. So there! :)
Also, I will be doing a PORTRAIT PAINTING DEMONSTRATION on June 19th from noon-5pm at Art Warehouse (man, I love these guys...). I will also try to have it up online, so check back here for a link. I will be painting the model all day, so please come by and take photos, have a coffee, maybe ask a question or two, and if all else fails, bring a ripe tomato with you if I do a REALLY horrible job. $50 a seat for all 5 hours. Attendees may come and go as they please.  PLEASE COME!
 WHAT ELSE??  I'm also teaching some new classes, so go to my "workshop" page for more info (witty, ey?). I have a lot of upcoming dates (dates are always good) of where I will be showing some of my new work (artamajig, the Hunter Museum, GPS...) so please stay tuned! I promise I will be better about not leaving you all in the dark! Thanks!

Come get your mug painted! I will be painting from 10 a.m to 2p.m at Pasha's Coffee House (3914 Saint Elmo Avenue, Chattanooga, TN, 37408) this saturday. I can't promise it will look like you (or human, for that matter), but it's fun, and hey, it MAY look a bit like you, in which case you can buy it for.... a donation!  I would like to keep the sketches until I exhibit all of them together, so you will have to check back with me on when this will be.  Wear your rags, pajamas, prom dresses, whatever!
